NORM Services
The assessment, decontamination, and remediation of NORM (Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material) represents a significant part of our business. Louisiana was the first state to incorporate laws to regulate NORM waste and PSC was one of the first contractors to be specifically licensed for these services. We also have agreements in place with other NORM-regulating states. PSC operates a dedicated NORM facility – the largest in North America – in Gibson, LA. Gibson is accessible by rail, navigable waterway and truck transportation.
