PSC’s trademarked tank cleaning systems apply the right pressure.

PSC offers an array of services that can be utilized in every phase of a tank cleaning project, from initial assessment to final disposal. Along with our cleaning processes, we offer related services such as dewatering, sludge processing, oil recovery, temporary storage, transportation, and disposal of residuals. Our tank management services include repair, inspection, blinding, advanced engineering, job costing, and contingency plans.

PSC offers several innovative processes to reduce ‘out of service time’ for storage tanks, minimize waste volumes generated, reduce project costs, and improve safety. Some of these processes include:
  •  Hydrocarbon Shearing, our deposit removal process, optimizes hydrocarbon removal/recovery and achieves:
  ·  spray pressures greater than 2,000 psi at 700 gallons per minute (gpm)
  ·  temperature gain of 100ºF at 500 gpm (8 to 18 million BTU per hour)
  ·  electrokinetics management to minimize redeposition
  •  HP-2000 System™, our high-pressure closed-loop recirculation system, disperses hydrocarbons from the sludge back into the liquid phase while the tank remains in normal service.
  •  LIFE GUARD™ System, PSC's patented, environmentally safe chemical decontamination process, rapidly removes benzene and other toxic materials from hydrocarbon residues and from the air contained in the tank.
  •  RoboJet™, PSC’s tank cleaning system combines the ultimate in non-invasive tank cleaning technology with the most experienced team in the industry. RoboJet removes sludge fast to clean vessels at refineries, bulk terminals and other industrial plants. This hydraulically operated nozzle is inserted and sealed into the tank via a shell or roof manway. It features a safe, low-light camera and explosion-proof light. The nozzle jets out water, diesel or cutter stock to quickly remove bottom sludge. With a throw rate of up to 100 feet, RoboJet makes quick work of hydrocarbon sludge.

PSC maintains self-contained operating equipment and support units for these services that minimize mobilization/demobilization and site setup times.
