Facility Decontamination, Dismantling / Decommissioning and Demolition

PSC has completed hundreds of projects involving the decontamination, dismantling/decommissioning and demolition of former industrial/manufacturing facilities. Decontamination projects are often driven by the need to clean building and equipment surfaces to facilitate reuse by other clients/processes or salvage and demolition. PSC has decontaminated many manufacturing facilities where inadequate ventilation or exhaust created a buildup of dust impregnated with heavy metals.

Decommissioning follows the decision to close an industrial facility. PSC is one of the few companies with internal resources to perform an entire site decommissioning project. Our demolition group has a broad range of experience, including structural and interior demolition and dismantling for virtually every industry sector and all types of facilities. Structures demolished include refineries, mines, mills, manufacturing plants, utility installations, office buildings, incinerators, emission stacks and a variety of other types of structures.
